In 17th-century Venice, when publishing was at its peak, bibliophiles were captivated by the alchemy of paper marbling to adorn covers and endpapers.

Named after Palazzo Santa Sofia, this jewel-like palette allows one to imagine lifting the lid of a box filled with rubies, garnets and rose quartz, plus a few emeralds thrown in for fun!
