In 17th-century Venice, when publishing was at its peak, bibliophiles were captivated by the alchemy of paper marbling to adorn covers and endpapers.

Named after Ca' d'Oro, this majestic palette imagines the "House of Gold" reflecting in the Grand Canal of 15th-century Venice: the ground in antique gold, and accented with indigo and flecks of burgundy.
